Logon then immediate Log Off in Windows

When a PC does an immediate log off after clicking the logon screen user icon.

Usually it is virus related and the userinit.exe file is missing from the system32 directory.  Replacing the file with a boot CD like Windows ERD is the best bet.

After replacing it, be sure to scan the computer for virus’s to complete the repair.
